Greetings everyone!

नमस्कार (Namaskāra - Nepali for “greetings”)

You guessed it! Another opportunity has come up for me to go to the nations! God has been placing India on my heart this year and He provided an opportunity for me to go with the International Missions Board (IMB) to Nepal for a six-week summer internship. From May 18th through July 1st. Which is near India, but the reason I chose Nepal was because the location suited my health better for this trip, since India’s air quality is not the best. Our mission in Nepal is to spread the gospel as much as possible and to disciple the ones who have accepted Christ into their hearts. 

As forty interns are going on the trip, we will be split up into groups of 4-5 and sent out just as Jesus sent His disciples in Matthew 10:5-8, “Jesus sent out these twelve after giving them instructions: “Don’t take the road that leads to the Gentiles, and don’t enter any Samaritan town. Instead, go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. As you go, proclaim, ‘The kingdom of heaven has come near.’ Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those with leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you received, freely give.” 

Nepal has 174 people groups and three main religious groups: Muslims, Hindus, and Buddhists. Forty of those people groups are Unengaged Unreached People Groups (UUPG). Meaning that they have never heard the Gospel or even Jesus’ name, they do not know the hope that is found in Christ alone. 

My team’s job will be to go from village to village preaching the Gospel with translators from morning to evening every day. Our main goal is to plant seeds and pray that they grow. Just like it says in 

1 Corinthians 3:6-9, “I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. So, then, neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth. Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each will receive his own reward according to his own labor. For we are God’s coworkers. You are God’s field, God’s building.” It is going to be hard but it will be so worth every minute.

Here are three ways you can be supporting my team and I:

Prayer - “Therefore, pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into his harvest.”

- Matthew 9:38. “Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is very powerful in its effect.” - James 5:16.It would be wonderful if you would consider partnering with me to pray for more Christians to be sent out into the field and if you could be praying for me and my team that we would rely on the Lord for strength and each other for communication.

Financial Support - I need to raise $3,645And I have already raised $500! If 100 people give $32, I will be fully funded! The giving portion is through STG travel company (who the IMB missionaries for this trip use), but if you need to write a check or have cash, you can send it to me personally and I will deposit it to the website.
